Clint Burges

Clint Burges serves as the director of video operations at Lamar University Athletics. He is in his 11th year in the current position and 14th as an athletics department member.

Burges has personally overseen numerous projects within the department from installation of new videoboards to full integration of network productions. He oversees roughly 15 students and numerous freelance professionals on a daily basis. Within his oversight, Burges ensures that students are given opportunities to excel within the broadcast industry while assisting in the promotion of Lamar University Athletics.

Burges began diversifying video content with streaming to “Facebook Live” and by increasing production value on numerous sports. He also works closely with network and conference partners to ensure communications for weekly productions.

Burges serves as the on-site engineer for the department and in-house technology for the Montagne Center (a 10,000 seat arena), as well.

A native of Lufkin, Texas, Burges earned his bachelor’s degree at Lamar University and currently resides in the Golden Triangle.
