Using the public internet to both internally connect one’s campus and, in some cases, distribute content to partners and/or viewers is permeating the live–college-sports-production industry.
At the 2018 SVG College Summit, representatives of athletic departments at the forefront of the technology and leveraging this tool shared their experiences and explained how confidence in public IP networks is altering how they view their campuses and what it means for the future of college athletics.
